Ashburton District's Welcoming Plan Launch

A classic kiwi afternoon tea, complete with hay bales and retro teapots,  helped launch the Welcoming Communities Ashburton District Welcoming Plan - Whakatau mai ki te rōhe o Hakatere on 11 July, 2018.​ Other guests at the event included Members of Parliament Andrew Falloon and Jo Luxton, and Mackenzie Mayor Graham Smith. There were also performances from Hampstead School’s Kapa Haka group, Filipino Dairy Workers NZ president Earl Magtibay, and Nepalese dancers.
